Frequently Asked Questions

1.How is a dental implant applied?

Implants planned with examination findings and x-ray measurements are placed in the jaw bone in a short surgical procedure using the right techniques. When you leave the treatment center, you will be given your appropriate medication. Besides this, your doctor and his assistants will be at your service continuously to ensure your comfort.

It is a successful treatment method that can be applied to anyone except for some exceptional cases (patients who have recently received radiotherapy, chemotherapy and have systemic diseases under control). Anyone who has a bone of thickness, height and quality where the implant can be placed can be implanted by evaluating their health status.

Implants are not accepted by the body. There are no known side effects on the human body.

Will I feel pain while applying the implant?

1.What is the reason the teeth are perplexed?

Teeth can be perplexed for many reasons. The main reasons may be the loss of the permanent teeth that will replace them as a result of early loss of milk teeth due to caries or fractures. Or if the small teeth are genetically large in the jaw, crowding may occur.

In fixed orthodontic treatments, the wires are placed only on their front surfaces, so they do not affect speech. Since the appliances made in removable orthodontic treatments cover the palate, they can affect speech in the first few days.

The appropriate age range for treatment varies according to the condition of the case. If there is no incompatibility between the jaws, only if there are position irregularities in the teeth such as crowding, orthodontic treatment can be applied at any age. In skeletal problems such as incompatibilities between the jaws, it is recommended that the patient be treated in their developmental stages.

Orthodontic treatment is a long-lasting treatment and the duration of treatment varies with many factors. Although there are unchangeable factors such as the type and severity of the orthodontic problem, the age of the patient, the length of the tooth roots, and the discomfort of the bone, the timely arrival of the patient to the appointments, attention to nutrition and oral hygiene, the appropriate use of the apparatus and elastics are important factors affecting the duration. During this period, the patient has an average monthly control process.
